Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of our pubs food service. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with pub standards and recipes
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate served
- Manage food safety standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimise waste
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality and serving standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant setting
- Supervising experience with team management capabilities
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety regulations
- Knowledge of food production processes and hospitality practices
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of kitchen operations
- Previous experience within a pub/restaurant
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service
