Key Details:
This job will predominately be based in the Preston, Chorley and South Ribble Area. All successful applicants are required to have a Full UK Driving Licence and own a vehicle (car or van).
New housekeepers are contracted 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday). We do not operate at weekends and we encourage our employees to have a healthy work-home life style.

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Housekeeper to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our supported living properties, including communal areas and vacant rooms (voids), ensuring homes are clean, safe, and ready for residents.
You will work independently across a designated route, supporting the upkeep and presentation of our properties while contributing to the well-being of the people we support.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean communal areas and vacant rooms to a high standard.
- Carry out routine housekeeping and janitorial duties.
- Safely collect and dispose of rubbish and unwanted items.
- Prepare properties for new residents, including basic room setup and furniture assembly.
- Deliver cleaning supplies, equipment, and small furniture items between properties.
- Maintain accurate cleaning records and report issues promptly.
- Identify and report maintenance, health and safety, or safeguarding concerns.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure excellent service delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, caretaking, or a similar role.
- Experience within supported living, housing, or social care settings is desirable.
- Basic DIY, decorating, or painting skills would be advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage a planned schedule.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Positive, reliable, and proactive approach to work.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Ability to travel between properties across your designated area.
- Flexible approach and willingness to support the needs of the service.
