The Communications and Engagement Specialist supports the Head of Communications and Stakeholder Engagement in delivering clear, engaging and impactful communications and campaigns. Combining strong writing and digital content skills with sound judgement, the role supports activity across channels including website, intranet, media, campaigns and social media. Working closely with teams across the business, the specialist ensures communications are clear, consistent and effective, while supporting stakeholder engagement and major projects such as water quality initiatives and infrastructure programmes. The role helps strengthen messaging, responsiveness and public trust, particularly during high-demand periods and complex challenges. It is a varied, fast-paced position balancing planned activity with reactive communications.
