Pay Rate: £53-£60 per hour Inside IR35 (based on experience)
- Work on some of the largest and most complex nuclear decommissioning programmes in the UK.
- Lead and influence engineering decisions as a technical authority.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a regulated, safety-critical environment.
- Shape the future of UK nuclear facilities through technical expertise, design oversight, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support within your specialty area, ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Make informed engineering decisions from both technical and project management perspectives.
- Act as technical lead or authority for mechanical engineering aspects when required.
- Assess and manage all changes within the project scope.
- Ensure compliance with engineering procedures, codes, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce, review, and approve technical documents, calculations, analyses, drawings, and models.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Mechanical or relevant engineering discipline.
- Experience working on heavily regulated sites with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to manage engineering scopes and deliver complex projects.
- Experience covering a wide range of mechanical engineering tasks across multiple complexities.
- Chartered Engineer status preferred.
- Active UK security clearance required.
