Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Road Marking Chargehand to undertake road marking operations. The role involves working as part of a 2 man team to ensure the safe and efficient completion of road marking instructions to public and private roads. Road Marking Operatives will also collaborate with team members, maintain equipment, and contribute to delivering high standards of safety and quality on all projects.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily road marking activities, ensuring work is completed on time and to specification
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on marking equipment and ensure all tools are in good working order
- Drive company vehicles to various sites, adhering to all safety regulations and driving standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to facilitate smooth operations
- Assist in resolving any operational issues or technical problems that arise during projects
Experience
- Previous experience within road marking industry
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for marking equipment and related machinery
- Valid driving licence is essential. A CSCS card is preferred
- Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with team members and clients
- Experience in operating the use of road marking machinery is essential
- Ability to work independently

Pay: From £600.00 per week
