About the Nursery and Role
An exciting opportunity to SHAPE our Brand New Nursery- We are seeking a passionate and proven Nursery Manager to lead our BRAND NEW nursery in the Watford. We need a warm, but consistent and firm manager who is office based but who can take a strategic lead on quality across the nursery.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring the nursery and our additional services are run to a high standard, adhering to the EYFS and settings policies and procedures. Ensuring compliance with all H&S legislation, EYFS framework and requirements of Ofsted will be integral to the role. Full tasks and responsibilities of the role will be set out fully in the job description.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
- A minimum of a Level 3 full and relevant Early years qualification (a degree in Early childhood studies is desirable.
- You will be Enthusiastic and passionate about providing the best for children in your care.
- Experience and ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Be a strong and respected role model and have the ability to share the ethos of the setting with staff and parents alike.
- To manage change and the development of the settings with a positive attitude.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interact and relate with parents, staff and the senior management team.
- An ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- A solution focussed and flexible approach.
- A willingness to continue your own learning journey.
Salary
The pay scale for this post is £55k pro rota
