Fabricator Welder – Andover
Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder looking for your next permanent role? Our client, located in Andover, is seeking a talented professional to join their busy production team. Working Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 16:45, you’ll use your welding expertise to bring technical drawings to life using MAG welding techniques. Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings to fabricate and weld metal components accurately
- Use MAG welding techniques to join metals in line with production specifications
- Cut, polish and finish materials to precise tolerances ensuring quality standards are met
- Operate Oxy-Acetylene heating equipment and digital bevel gauges as required
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere strictly to safety guidelines at all times
- Work flexibly within a team to meet production schedules and business needs
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on efficiency and quality
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a Fabricator Welder with MAG welding skills
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings (experience preferred but not essential)
- Skilled in polishing and working to fine tolerances
- Experience using Oxy-Acetylene equipment and digital bevel gauges is a bonus
- Commitment to a ‘right first time’ approach and maintaining high-quality output
- Strong team player with excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
