Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CPCS Slinger Signaller / Banksman to join the Ashton Gate Sporting Quarter Project, a major £100 million development centred around Ashton Gate Stadium in Bristol.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a high-profile construction project, supporting major construction activities on a busy and well-established site.

Carry out slinging and signalling duties for cranes and lifting operations

Safely guide plant and vehicle movements across site as a Banksman

Ensure all lifting operations are conducted in line with lift plans and safe systems of work

Communicate clearly with crane operators and plant drivers using recognised hand signals and radio communication
-
Assist with the safe movement and positioning of materials, equipment, and construction components
-
Maintain exclusion zones and ensure personnel remain safe during lifting activities
-
Support site logistics and general construction operations as required

Monitor and report hazards, unsafe conditions, and near misses immediately

Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Valid CPCS Slinger Signaller card (essential)

Previous experience in lifting operations and banking plant on construction projects

Strong understanding of lifting plans, signalling procedures, and site safety requirements

Experience working around cranes, heavy plant, and busy construction environments

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team

Reliable, safety-conscious, and proactive attitude

Upto £20.00 per hour (CIS/UTR)
