Tin Can Kitchen is a burger and fries joint, specialising in restaurant quality eats and proper great food. We also make pizza and burrtios so experience in this area would be amazing !
The role is full-time (10-15hours per week) and the successful applicant will be expected to work a variety of evening/weekend/daytime shifts.
In terms of what you will bring to the role:
- A 'can-do' attitude;
- Hands-on in nature, with an ability to multitask and jump between tasks;
- A keen interest in the hospitality industry and/or kitchen work;
- Experience and knowledge of kitchen processes, such as stock ordering, stock rotation and the timely/accurate completion of kitchen paperwork;
- Experience and knowledge of a wide range of cuisine, such as restaurant quality burgers, hot dogs, burritos and loaded fries (experience making pizzas is also desirable).

In essence, we need a team player that can turn his/her hands to any part of the business' day-to-day operation, be that food preparation or customer service.
Moreover, we are looking for someone to grow with the business - the more ambitious you are, the better, as progression among all employees is encouraged.
Own transport is preferred, as the kitchen is based in Rogerstone (north of Newport) and at our Cardiff pop up this summer
We are open until 10 pm weekdays and until 10:30 pm over the weekend.
The rate of pay is highly competitive/dependent on experience. As this is an immediate start, interviews will be held in the next week or so at the company's headquarters in Rogerstone.
Speculative applications are welcome. We will also hold discussions with anyone that may not adhere to the necessary criteria but has a passion for cooking and a strong desire to develop as a professional chef.
