HGV Parts Advisor – Build & Lead a New Department

- Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 DOE
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (flexibility required)
We are supporting a growing logistics and transport business in the recruitment of an experienced HGV Parts Advisor to take ownership of a newly created parts department.
This is a rare opportunity to build and develop a department from the ground up, including processes, supplier relationships, stock control, and future team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and develop a new parts department
- Source and order HGV and trailer parts
- Manage stock control and inventory levels
- Build and maintain supplier relationships
- Support workshop and maintenance teams with parts supply
- Develop efficient systems and processes
- Assist with future team growth and mentoring
Candidate Requirements
- Experience as a HGV Parts Advisor
- Strong knowledge of vehicle parts and supply chain processes
- Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
- Confident communication and relationship-building skills
- HGV / trailer / fleet experience beneficial
