We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and food safety regulations
- Organise staff schedules to optimise coverage during peak hours and minimise labour costs
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation across all areas of the restaurant
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing clientele
- Handle administrative tasks such as budgeting, reporting, and maintaining records
Experience
- Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Demonstrable team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively
- Previous experience in restaurant management or similar leadership roles is essential
- Familiarity with food production processes, kitchen operations, and hospitality standards
- Experience in managing barista services or bar operations is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration
