We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Deliver customised massage therapy sessions, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or specialised techniques based on client needs.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their health history and specific concerns.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and relaxing environment for clients before, during, and after treatments.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress in compliance with professional standards.
- Promote wellness programmes and recommend self-care practices to support ongoing health benefits.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct and confidentiality at all times.
- Stay informed about new massage techniques, industry developments, and relevant health regulations through continuous professional development.
Requirements
- recognised qualification in Massage Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience delivering various massage techniques preferred but not essential; training can be provided for specialised methods.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to clients’ needs.
- Strong organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to massage therapy practice.
- A friendly, empathetic attitude with a genuine desire to help clients improve their physical well-being.
- Flexibility to work during evenings or weekends if required; availability for scheduled appointments is essential.
