Operations Controller
I am currently recruiting for a hugely successful and growing business who are looking an Operations Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role across the business working closely with planning, production and procurement teams.
The Role
- Work closely with planners to develop and maintain the production schedule
- Daily input into stores tactical plan movement after liaison with planners on any operational tactical movement within the production system
- Monitoring work orders from start to finish to support operational delivery
- Ensuring daily and weekly KPI targets are achieved
- Develop and maintain production readiness review processes
- Completion of company stock takes ensuring stock levels are accurate
- Implement control measures when required to prevent errors
- Other relevant duties
Essential Criteria
- A minimum 3 (+) years experience working within manufacturing
- Ability to communicate with different departments
- Experience working on MRP systems
- Excellent IT skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload
- A positive can-do attitude towards work
