We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sewing Machinist to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to manufacture high-quality products while meeting production targets and quality standards.
Working Hours 7am-3pm monday-friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently.
- Sew products to specification.
- Read and interpret patterns, templates, and production instructions.
- Inspect finished items to ensure quality standards are met.
- Carry out minor machine adjustments and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist or similar role.
- Ability to operate a range of industrial sewing machines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to meet production targets.
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
