Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Assistant to join our small team within our premises at Falcon Lodge. The Laundry Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry items are cleaned, folded, and stored properly. The role will be inclusive of ,but not limited to washing, ironing and stain removal. A fundamental aspect of the role will be dealing with customers in person or via the phone ensuring a personalised, professional service.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, iron and hang as necessary
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect laundry for stains or damage and pre-treat as necessary
- Assist with customers queries, enquiries
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work 1 in 3 Saturdays (9am-12pm) and cover holidays as needed
