Job Summary
We are seeking a semi-skilled roofing labourer to join our team, working across Islington, Hackney, and Harringay. This role is essential in supporting our roofing projects through hands-on work while maintaining high safety standards.
The ideal candidate will be self-employed, hold a valid CSCS Labourer card, have roofing experience, and be able to drive.
Responsibilities
- Assist with roofing works including tiling, slating, and pointing
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
- Support the team with heavy lifting and material handling
- Follow all health & safety procedures on site
- Work collaboratively to meet project deadlines
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised
- Assist with other construction-related duties as required
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid CSCS Labourer card (essential)
- Self-employed status
- Driving licence and access to transport
- Previous roofing experience preferred
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour and working at height
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and site safety
- Willingness to learn and support the team
