Job Introduction As a member of the Leicester Mental Health Leadership Team, Step 3 Supervisors play a vital role in supporting Clinical Leads to ensure exceptional standards of clinical delivery and effectiveness.
A key aspect of this role is providing comprehensive supervision to Step 3 practitioners. This supervision encompasses clinical case management, outcomes monitoring, reflective practice, and skills development. The supervisor must adhere to clinical competency frameworks for Step 3 modalities and regularly audit their supervisees' work to maintain clinical quality. The role will include maintaining a small individual clinical caseload.
Working collaboratively with Step 3 Clinical Leads and other Clinical and Operational leadership, supervisors will help drive service developments and achieve team objectives. When required, they may be called upon to deputize for the Step 3 Clinical Lead at relevant meetings. This position bridges the gap between direct clinical practice and service leadership, ensuring both quality patient care and practitioner development.
