We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, and managing kitchen operations efficiently.
We are a local pub serving traditional food all made fresh.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that all food production meets quality and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring dishes are served at the appropriate temperature and quality.
- Handle customer feedback professionally, making adjustments to improve service where necessary.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and food safety practices.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
