Ullswater Road Garage is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Car Valeter to join our friendly team. We are a long-established, family run garage located just off Junction 40 in Penrith. We take pride in creating a positive working atmosphere where people are treated well, supported in their roles and given opportunities to progress.
This is an exciting time to join us, as we are currently investing significantly in our vehicle preparation facilities. A brand-new, purpose-built valeting bay is being completed, including a new vehicle turntable for photography. We are also investing in high-quality equipment, products and chemicals to make sure our valeting team has everything needed to do the job properly.
The role will involve preparing both new and used vehicles to a high standard, ready for customer handovers, photographs and display.
Main Duties
- Cleaning and valeting, new and used vehicles to a consistently high standard
- Carrying out interior and exterior vehicle preparaton
- Using professional valeting equipment, products and chemicals correctly
- Checking completed vehicles and ensuring attention to detail
- Helping to keep the valeting bay and surrounding areas clean and organised
- Moving vehicles safely around the site
- Assisting with general site duties when required
- Working independently while also supporting the wider sales and workshop teams

- A full driving licence
- Previous valeting or vehicle preparation is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be provided

Hours of Work
- Your normal shift hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30 - 17.30. Additional hours available.
