Job Summary:
As a Coffee Machine Cleaner, you will play an important role in maintaining clean, well-stocked kitchen and refreshment areas for our client. Previous cleaning experience is essential for this role. Full training on the coffee machines will be provided upon commencement.
You will be responsible for replenishing coffee machines, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring all facilities are kept to a high standard to provide a pleasant environment for employees and visitors.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Responsible to the Team Leader.
As a Cleaning operative, you will be expected to:
- Provide cleaning services within our client’s site, ensuring high-quality service provision and excellent customer satisfaction.
- Replenish coffee machines with supplies and carry out basic cleaning and maintenance (full training provided).
- Ensure kitchen areas are clean, tidy, and hygienic throughout the day.
- Fill and empty dishwashers and return items to the appropriate storage areas.
- Clean worktops, sinks, cupboards, and other kitchen surfaces.
- Replenish consumables as required.
- Empty bins and maintain waste disposal areas.
- Complete general cleaning duties as required and promptly report any issues or safety hazards.
- Ensure good working relationships with colleagues and site employees.
- Keep up to date with good working practices, products, and techniques.
- Comply with current Health and Safety legislation.
To be successful in the cleaning operative role, the skills you will need:
- Previous commercial cleaning experience (essential).
- Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards.
- Self-motivation, flexibility, and enthusiasm.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Awareness of relevant Health and Safety practices and procedures.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
