Overview
We are seeking skilled and passionate Breakfast Chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety are maintained. Duties
- Prepare and cook a range of breakfast items, including eggs, pastries, and other hot and cold dishes
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with suppliers for timely replenishment of ingredients
- Serve breakfast dishes efficiently to guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless dining experience
- Adhere to all hygiene protocols and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Assist with Afternoon Tea preparation
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a chef within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
- Experience with meal preparation for breakfast service preferred
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and culinary techniques related to breakfast dishes
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment such as a restaurant or hotel is desirable
- Serving experience is advantageous but not essential; willingness to learn is valued highly
