Job Summary
We’re on the lookout for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team and help bring our culinary vision to life. You will be supported and trained to develop your skills and expertise to make a real impact on the dining experience we offer our guests. As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef and senior chefs to help manage kitchen operations, develop seasonal menus, and ensure every dish meets our high standards for quality, preparation, and presentation.
- Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chef daily kitchen operations across 2 sites within Glastonbury, including food preparation and production.
- Follow food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Contribute to menu planning and development with innovative ideas while maintaining operational feasibility.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supportive role within a professional kitchen environment.
- Background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
- Passion for culinary arts and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
