Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate must have experience in TIG welding to produce high-quality components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication and mechanical processes to contribute to innovative projects within a dynamic environment.
We manufacture and fit gates, staircases, railings, balustrades & balconies. We manufacture batch components for other industries. Our products are bespoke to order and are very varied, so a wide range of fabrication skills are required. Welding with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium. Must produce accurate results and be able to work on own initiative or as part of a team. Attention to detail is key.
Duties
- Set up and adjust machinery, ensuring optimal performance and quality standards are met
- Interpret technical drawings accurately
- Fabrication processes TIG welding, grinding and assembly required
- Conduct quality checks on finished components to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, sheet metal work, or related manufacturing roles
- Experience with grinding, welding, and assembly processes is essential
- Experience in the use of hand tools, tooling, and basic measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Good understanding of basic maths for measurements & calculations
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to manufacturing environments
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality output
