Vehicle Despatch Operatives

We are seeking to recruit a Vehicle Despatch Operative for our site in Glenfield, Cowdenbeath. This is a hand on role within a fast-paced chilled warehouse environment, ensuring customer orders are accurately loaded and despatched on time while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Shift Pattern: This role operates on a 4 – week rotating shift pattern, working 5 days over 7 and every second weekend. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week.
Week 1
· Saturday - Wednesday (Thu & Fri rest days)
· 8.00am – 4.30pm
Week 2
· Monday – Friday (Sat & Sun rest days)
· 6.00am – 2.30pm
Week 3
· Thursday – Monday (Tue & Wed rest days)
· 8.00am – 4.30pm
Week 4
· Monday – Friday (Sat & Sun rest days)
· 10.00am – 6.30pm
Key Responsibilities:
· Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
· Ensuring customer orders are accurate and despatched on time
· Completing relevant despatch paperwork and checks
· Working closely with production and warehouse teams
· Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and food safety
· Following all health and safety procedures
· Forklift driving is not essential but would be an advantage
· Previous warehouse and despatch experience preferred
· Counting warehouse stock
