Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable Temporary Warehouse / Forklift Operator to support our warehouse team for a 5-day assignment due to a high volume of inbound containers. The role will involve unloading containers, moving stock safely within the warehouse, and assisting with general warehouse duties to help ensure all goods are handled within required timelines.
Duties
- Unload containers and receive incoming stock safely and efficiently
- Operate forklift truck to move pallets and materials within open Yard
- Load, unload, stack and store products in designated locations
- Assist with checking goods in and reporting any damages or discrepancies
- Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
- Work closely with the warehouse team to meet daily unloading and operational targets
Experience
- Valid forklift licence / certification (Counterbalance preferred – specify if required)
- Previous warehouse and container unloading experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual and able to start immediately
- Team player with a hands-on attitude
