Clinical Negligence Solicitor – Leeds
A leading claimant law firm is seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor (Grade A) to join its highly regarded team in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer looking to handle complex, high-value clinical negligence claims within a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will take full ownership of a challenging caseload, managing matters from initial instruction through to settlement or trial. Working closely with clients, medical experts, counsel and colleagues, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding outcomes while providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities

Manage a complex clinical negligence caseload independently

Develop case strategy and drive matters through to resolution

Draft key legal documentation, including Letters of Claim and expert instructions

Negotiate settlements and oversee litigation where required

Provide technical support and mentoring to junior lawyers

Contribute to team performance and financial objectives
Requirements
-
8+ years' PQE (or equivalent experience) in Clinical Negligence
-
Proven experience handling complex claimant clinical negligence matters

Strong litigation, negotiation and drafting skills

Excellent client care and stakeholder management abilities

Commercially minded with strong organisational skills

Experience supervising or mentoring junior team members
