Role Overview
We are looking for dependable self-employed Parcel Sorting Operatives to assist with the efficient handling of parcels at our Newburn depot. This role suits people who prefer early morning work and want flexibility to fit around other commitments such as another job, studies, or family life.
Key Duties
- Scanning and sorting parcels accurately within the depot
- Using handheld devices to record and track items
- Allocating parcels to the correct routes or cages
- Keeping the work area clean, organised, and safe
- Working independently while achieving required performance standards
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to early starts
- Physically capable of lifting and moving parcels
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable following processes and working independently
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is helpful but not required
