We are looking for Domestic / Housekeeping Assistants to join our team. This is a practical, hands-on role helping to keep our care home clean, safe and comfortable for residents.
No previous care home experience required – full training provided.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning residents’ rooms, bathrooms and communal areas
- Laundry duties (washing, drying and ironing)
- Following daily cleaning schedules and checklists
- Using cleaning products safely (COSHH)
- Keeping all areas clean, tidy and well presented
- Working around residents with dignity and respect
What we’re looking for:
- Reliable and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work as part of a team
- Flexible and willing to support across duties
- Available to work weekends as part of a rota
- Must have own transport (car) due to location
Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hotel services or care settings is helpful but not essential.
