Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Groundworker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to groundworks, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This role is essential in supporting the construction process, contributing to the overall success of projects.
Duties
- Carry out excavation and earthmoving tasks as required.
- Assist in the installation of drainage systems and utilities.
- Prepare and lay foundations for various structures.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Skills
- Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
- Ability to operate basic construction machinery (training may be provided).
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to work well with others on site.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
- Attention to detail, ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Previous experience in groundworks or construction is advantageous but not essential.
