Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for early years??
The successful candidate will be based in a nursery working with the pre school children 3 days a week and two days a week travelling round visiting our other sites overseeing the quality of teaching and learning. The use of a car or ability to travel is essential. All our nurseries are in Salford.
Duties
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Implementing and delivering training to staff (may include some evening work)
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Oversee the school transition process across Kidzrus
- Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members.
- Oversee the windows and Mirrrors curriculum acrosss all 7 nurseries
- Support the management team in implementing policies related to childcare standards and curriculum development.
- Contribute to the ongoing training programmes to enhance professional knowledge in early childhood education.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage children and liaise confidently with parents.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
- Ability to organise activities that stimulate learning while ensuring safety at all times.
- Flexibility in working hours, including the ability to drive/travel.
