Transitional Services for Young People 16-24
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our transitional home based in Birmingham. This role will include overseeing 3 Residential homes which are as part of the same location, whilst being supported by a highly experienced and present Nominated Individual.
The homes are established and supported with a core staffing structure and our Registered Manager’s are heavily supported by Head Office with Rotering, Recruitment, Compliance, Referral’s and Training Department.

We are seeking a strong leader who is committed to delivering outstanding care, achieving positive outcomes, and supporting young people with a range of complex needs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations.
- Creating a safe, nurturing, and child-centred environment
- Managing, supporting, and developing a staff team through supervision and training
- Developing and reviewing person-centred care plans tailored to each young person
- Working in partnership with families and external professionals
- Monitoring safeguarding, risk management, and overall quality of care
- Supporting young people’s education, health, and emotional wellbeing
- Overseeing activities, trips, and positive experiences for our young people.
Complex Needs & Legal Responsibilities:
- Supporting young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs
- Managing and overseeing care for young people subject to DoLS / Court of Protection orders, ensuring all restrictions are lawful, proportionate, and regularly reviewed.
- Leading on mental capacity and best interest decision-making processes
- Embedding trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches across the home
- Working closely with social workers, therapists, and other professionals
- Ensuring clear, compliant documentation relating to safeguarding, restrictions, and legal frameworks
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a similar setting.
- Experience supporting children and young people with complex needs and behaviours
- Understanding of DoLS, mental capacity, and restrictive practices
- Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
