SpaSeekers.com, a family run business with a team of around 35 people, has been the UK’s leading spa booking specialists since 1989 and we’ve helped over 1 million people find their perfect spa experience.
We work with a port folio of 450 UK spa destinations, from budget, to mid, to luxury price points and as part of our continued growth plan and to meet the demands of our valued suppliers we require a driven, talented and enthusiastic Account Manager to join our exciting team. A dynamic role with the responsibility of working with a wider team achieving KPI’s, keeping to strategy and processes in addition to being innovative yourself, owning the role and developing this side of our business. Therefore, the ideal candidate must have a proven track record, be determined for success.
This role is offered on a hybrid, remote basis. The successful candidate will be required to work from the office a minimum of two days per week.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To take responsibility for understanding, developing and managing the relationships with our spas across the UK, liaising with both the Supply team and Marketing team. Each Account Manager will have direct responsibility for their own portfolio of venues/accounts.
- Create and develop an account plan for all accounts within their portfolio - ensuring effective account management with targets set & reviewed- with particular focus on identified growth accounts to increase SpaSeekers market share of their business where possible
- To check spa inventory on a regular basis and communicate with the spas to ensure the packages offered are live (where possible) competitive and attractive to the customer. Communicating with spas any package ideas that work for comp set.
- To identify inventory shortages with our spas on a short, medium & long-term basis - and request additional inventory if they have it.
- Visiting spas & hotels where required to present Health Check data - with the aim of deepening/developing relationship with relevant management on-site: General Manager, Sales Manager/Director, Revenue Manager, Marketing Manager as well as Spa Manager.
- Action all tasks from meetings – delegating to relevant parties within the team.
- To keep abreast of our spa partners Technology – their spa software and PMS. Introducing alternative software options that offer full connectivity with SpaSeekers.
- Facilitating the relationship between the individual spa’s Marketing Manager and our Marketing team, in order to ensure marketing activity, updated imagery, and general collaboration.
- To establish a strong presence within the Spa Industry, by joining appropriate associations, also representation at appropriate trade fairs and exhibitions as required.
- Complete an Activity Report each month, including any good news of improved performance as well as any recommendations of how we could work to further achieve our commercial aims.
- Updating CRM with all activity on a timely basis.
- To fulfil any other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Product.
