Our products are fitted to everything from family hatchbacks to high-value supercars, motorhomes, vans and fleets. We work directly with drivers, dealerships, insurers and fleet operators across the UK and beyond.
Our Direct Sales team is the front door for retail customers — the people who come to us to protect their own vehicles. This is a customer-facing role, and it matters. A lot of our weekend enquiries come from people who've just taken delivery of something they love, or who've had a close call with theft in their area. How we handle that first conversation sets the tone for the whole relationship.
The role
We're looking for a part-time Sales Executive to join the Direct Sales team in London, working weekends with some flexibility needed to cover UK bank holidays. You'll be the first point of contact for retail customers enquiring about our core product range: Thatcham-approved trackers, Ghost II immobilisers and our dash camera systems.
Your job is to understand what the customer drives, what they're worried about, and recommend the right product (or combination of products) for their situation. You'll take enquiries by phone, email and web chat, convert them into bookings at one of our approved installer centres, and keep the customer informed right through to installation.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound sales enquiries from retail customers across phone, email and live chat during weekend shifts.
- Qualify each enquiry — vehicle, use case, insurance requirement, budget — and recommend the right product from our range.
- Process orders, take payment, and book installations at the customer's nearest approved installer.
- Keep Salesforce up to date — every call logged, every opportunity updated, every follow-up scheduled.
- Meet weekly and monthly targets for conversion rate, revenue and attach rate.
- Work closely with the weekday team so handover is clean and nothing drops between Sunday night and Monday morning.
- Flag recurring questions or objections to the marketing team so we can improve our website content and FAQs.
What we're looking for
Essential
- Confident on the phone, warm in writing, and able to build rapport quickly without being pushy.
- Comfortable working independently on a Saturday or Sunday when the office is quieter.
- Numerate and organised — happy working with a CRM, taking card payments, and keeping accurate records.
- Full right to work in the UK.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a sales, customer service or retail environment — ideally with some exposure to phone-based or consultative selling.
- Experience selling or advising on automotive products, insurance, aftermarket accessories or connected-car technology.
- Familiarity with Thatcham categories (S5, S7) or vehicle security more broadly.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or a similar CRM.
- Interest in cars — you don't need to be a petrolhead, but it helps if you can tell a Golf R from a Golf GTI.
Working pattern
This is a part-time, weekend-focused role based at our London office. A typical week looks like this:
- Saturday: 09:00 – 17:00
- Sunday: 11:00 – 19:00
- Evenings: After 5pm
- Bank holidays: shared rota — we ask that you're available for roughly half of the UK bank holidays across the year, agreed in advance.
We're flexible on start times and will happily discuss a pattern that works for you. Occasional weekday training or team days may be requested — always with plenty of notice.
