Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Early Morning Temp Cleaner to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves performing cleaning duties in commercial environments during early morning hours, ensuring spaces are hygienic and presentable for the start of the business day.
The shift runs from 06:30 am to 09:00 am, Sunday to Friday, Saturday as day off providing an excellent opportunity for those seeking early morning work. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is ideal for individuals who are organised, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated sales floor areas, including offices, washrooms, and communal spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment
- Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly
- Clean and sanitise restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Complete all cleaning tasks efficiently within the allocated time frame to prepare premises for opening
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently within the shift duration
- Reliable punctuality and a professional attitude towards work commitments
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is desirable but training will be provided
- Ability to work early mornings consistently and adhere to scheduled start times
