Datamars is a global organisation specialising in integrated product solutions in livestock management, animal health delivery, pet identification and reunification and textile identification.
Our UK subsidiary, based in Selkirk in the Scottish Borders, is now recruiting for a full time Production Operative to join their busy production team.
Key job functions:
- Operating laser printing equipment (full training provided)
- Packing and dispatching orders
- Operating assembly machinery
- General warehouse duties.
Essentials/Experience
The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial environment; experience in a high-volume production setting is a distinct advantage.
Full training will be provided across all aspects of the role.
Candidates must be reliable and demonstrate a positive work attitude.
Strong attention to detail and a tidy, well-organised work ethic are essential.
A good understanding of English, with the ability to read and work from production documentation, is required.
Good physical capability is necessary, as some heavy lifting is involved.
The successful candidate must be a strong team player.
Working Pattern:
An alternating weekly shift pattern of
05.30-14.00 Monday – Friday or
13.30-22.00 Monday – Thursday and 13.30-19.00 Friday
Must be able to work 8.30 - 5.00 Monday – Friday when required.
