Duties
- Assist in the cooking process, ensuring timely and efficient meal production
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area according to food safety regulations
- Support the team during busy periods by providing additional assistance with food service and preparation
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and customers
- Ensure that all food is stored correctly, adhering to hygiene standards and rotation procedures
- Contribute to maintaining a positive and collaborative team atmosphere within the kitchen
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles is required.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
- Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
