Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospitality General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our vibrant shop. We are a family-run bakery & wine bar. We create & serve speciality pastry in the morning, coffees and sandwiches during the day and transition to wines and small plates in the evenings. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent service skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the hospitality industry. The right candidate will understand coffee, service, have some understanding of wine & evening service, be comfortable with rotas, ordering & working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Duties
- Lead and supervise all departments, including FOH, food and beverage, retail and maintenance, ensuring smooth operational flow.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Ffoster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
- Maintain high standards of service.
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners to ensure quality service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in management or a similar hospitality leadership role; supervising experience is essential.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- A professional attitude combined with exceptional interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and staff alike. Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
