Part-Time Chef – The Parlour Restaurant, Weybridge Garden Centre
We are looking for a passionate and reliable Part-Time Chef to join the kitchen team at The Parlour Restaurant, based within Weybridge Garden Centre.
Working 20 hours per week on a rota basis, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality, freshly prepared food in a busy daytime restaurant environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hospitality but wants a better work-life balance with daytime hours only and guaranteed time off over major holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily food preparation and service
- Preparing and cooking fresh menu items to a high standard
- Supporting with breakfast, lunch and seasonal menu service
- Maintaining excellent food presentation and portion control
- Ensuring food hygiene and health & safety standards are consistently followed
- Assisting with stock rotation, storage and inventory control
- Helping to keep the kitchen clean, organised and fully compliant
- Supporting with deliveries and correct storage of ingredients
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Assisting with menu preparation for specials and seasonal dishes
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and correctly
- Maintaining a positive and professional attitude within the team
- Supporting other kitchen duties as required
About You
- Previous chef or kitchen experience preferred
- Passion for fresh food and quality service
- Able to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Reliable, punctual and flexible with rota-based shifts
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate desirable
