Job Summary
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating 18t curtain side Tail lift lorries to deliver goods efficiently and on time. Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 curtain side lorries across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring secure transportation
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Ensure timely delivery of goods to clients, adhering to schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Follow all relevant road safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients as required
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and delivery role
- Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to operate vehicles safely in various weather conditions
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including early mornings or late evenings if required
