Due to continued growth within our Corporate Operations team, we are now looking to expand our professional and talented Corporate department to support and shape the future demands of our business. Founded in 1976 in Australia, Kip McGrath has been helping primary and secondary school age children all over the world to improve or extend their learning. With over 560 centres globally, we know what works and we are proud and passionate on delivering and maintaining this.
The Centre Manager will be responsible for the effective and successful running of our Corporate centre/s. They will champion the Kip McGrath brand and will ensure that our mission and vision is at the forefront of their role.
We are looking to recruit experienced Managers who are engaging, approachable, problem solving experts, with the ability to lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the effective and successful operation of the Corporate Centre(s)
- Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead for the area of responsibility
- Ofsted Lead for the area of responsibility
- Centre key holder
- First Aid support
- H&S Management
- Conducting in-centre and online assessments converting into enrollments
- Proactive and regular contact and liaison with parents, guardians and schools to support current students and growth
- Overseeing the management of the Tutoring Team within the Corporate Centre(s)
- Regular reporting to the Corporate Management Team
- Assist with the growth of the business with acquisition
- Ensuring that any complaints are processed by the Corporate Services Assistant team in a timely fashion
- Demonstrating a high level of ability to manage all system used
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for proactive service leader, a confident communicator who is adaptable, organised, and capable of managing teams in a fast-paced environment. You will be professional, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience of leading and managing a team, preferably multi-location
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in managing compliance (Safeguarding & H&S)
- Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance (working with children)
- Full UK driving licence – travel will be required
- Desirable Experience:
- Business, corporate, service or educational background
- Two years of tutoring or classroom teaching experience
- Marketing and social media experience
- Experience within a education or franchising environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
