The Company
We are currently recruiting for a well-established and growing food manufacturer, known for producing high-quality, premium products. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team in Harrogate.
The Role
As a Production Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in overseeing daily production operations, ensuring targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This is a hands-on role, requiring active involvement on the shop floor, including material processing and machine monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and leading a team on the production floor

Ensuring daily production targets and KPIs are achieved

Monitoring product quality and compliance with food safety standards

Taking a proactive, hands-on approach to material processing and machine performance

Ensuring machines are running efficiently and addressing issues as they arise

Promoting and maintaining a “clean as you go” culture across the production area

Driving continuous improvement across processes and performance

Managing staff performance, attendance, and training

Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times

Liaising with other departments to ensure smooth operations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or food production environment

Strong leadership and team management skills

Good understanding of health & safety and food hygiene standards

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet targets
