We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Health Care Assistant to support individuals in the Worksop/Sheffield and surrounding area. This role is focused on helping support individuals lead a safe, meaningful life while managing behaviours that can at times be complex and challenging.
About the Role
We are looking for Bank Health Care Assistants to provide a consistent, structured approach. Your role will involve assisting with all aspects of daily living, emotional well-being, and active participation in community-based activities.
Experience with learning disabilities or mental health is a must.

Continuity of care is essential to this young person’s progress and emotional wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Support the young person with personal care, communication, daily routines, and emotional regulation
✔ Plan and participate in structured community activities
✔ Foster independence and confidence in both home and community settings
✔ Implement PBS strategies and behaviour support plans with consistency
✔ Maintain detailed care records and follow safeguarding protocols
✔ Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with family and professionals
✔ Participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team development
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Experience supporting individuals with behaviours that challenge
- Experience with mental health
- Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient
- Strong communication and teamworking skills
- Full right to work in the UK
- Flexible availability and good reliability
- Two professional references and valid ID
- Willingness to undertake all mandatory training (including Team teach and PBS)
- Full UK drivers license
Desirable:
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care
- Knowledge of autism, learning disabilities
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
