We are looking to appoint a support assistant to join our friendly, supportive, and hardworking team from September 2026.
The post will initially involve working over 5 days to support children in receipt of an EHC Plan requiring additional support, some of whom have complex needs. Some of the diagnoses of the children include ADHD, Autism, Down’s Syndrome, attachment disorder and social, emotional, and mental health needs.
The Headteacher and Governors of the school are looking for an experienced, caring, enthusiastic, and committed Support Assistant. The post requires the candidate to provide provision for a flexible curriculum, within an emotionally supportive, calm, and nurturing educational setting.
The above post would be on a fixed term contract, to be reviewed annually. The post will be dependent on the needs of the child/ren and subject to the named pupils’ continued education at the school.
