About the role
Are you looking for a rewarding role in a large, Outstanding Secondary School? Are you highly organised, detail-driven, able and self-motivated to manage workload efficiently?
This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to join us as our Admissions Officer.
Your main responsibilities will be to manage the whole admission process, from point of application to the arrival of the new student to the Academy and helping them to successfully settle into life at Avonbourne. You will also coordinate the School Admission Appeals process.
About you
The successful candidate will have:

excellent organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- the ability to manage multiple deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- strong working knowledge of administrative processes
- excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- strong IT skills, including experience with management information systems (e.g. Arbor or similar) and Microsoft Office
- the ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a wider team
- high levels of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality
- a proactive, solution-focused approach
- ideally worked in an admissions or school administration role
