Female Support Worker / Personal Assistant – Complex Care
£16.20–£16.80 per hour | Driver Essential | Full Training Provided
Looking for a role that’s more than just care?
This is a unique opportunity to become a trusted Personal Assistant and Complex Care Support Worker, supporting one individual to live an active, independent and fulfilling life.
I am looking for a reliable, confident and compassionate female support worker to join my small team as a Personal Assistant and Complex Care Support Worker. This is a one-to-one role supporting me with both daily life and complex health needs.
While the role includes personal and clinical care, it is equally about supporting my independence and busy lifestyle. I need someone who can think ahead, use initiative, manage competing priorities and work independently with confidence.
Please note: This is a female-only position, which is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
About Me
I am in my 30s, blind and use a wheelchair. I have complex health needs, including tracheostomy care, skin care, eye care and medication management.
Despite this, I lead a busy and active lifestyle and like to make the most of each day. I enjoy going to the gym, aromatherapy and wellness, eating out and shopping – retail therapy is definitely my thing! I also enjoy staying busy, getting out into the community and keeping life varied and engaging.
I would describe myself as down to earth, independent and someone who likes things done efficiently. I enjoy a bit of humour, good conversation and people who are easy to get along with but also professional. I’m looking for someone who is positive, practical and confident enough to get stuck in and use common sense.
