We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling and polishing of patients’ teeth to prevent decay and gum disease
- Conduct oral health assessments and provide personalised oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with practice protocols and data protection laws
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, dietary advice, and preventive measures
Requirements
- recognised qualification as a Dental Hygienist, registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) or equivalent regulatory body
- Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is desirable
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, particularly oral and maxillofacial structures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality
- Ability to work flexibly within practice hours, including occasional participation in training sessions or professional development programmes
