Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Peterborough, Whittlesey and Wisbech . This role is vital in providing exceptional home care services that align with our mission to improve clients' quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management.
- Develop and update individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Support the delivery of tailored care services that promote independence and well-being.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience or interest in home care or healthcare settings.
- Valid driving license and ability to travel between client locations.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to follow care plans accurately.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to home care.
- Prior experience working with elderly or vulnerable populations is advantageous.
