Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled class 2 minimum (class 1 preferred) recovery Driver and technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be local to LE67 area due to ETA to jobs and area coverage, and possess previous experience in the recovery and roadside assistance industry. An understanding of vehicles with the ability to carry out roadside repairs is a must.
A strong sense of responsibility, with attention to detail, is needed. The candidate should be trustworthy and willing to work as part of a team.
Training will be provided and will work alongside IVR training programmes.
Schedule
We are looking for 2 people one permanenet early from 07:00 till 17:00and a permeant late 12:00 till 22:00 - we would look to do rotation if both candidates was agreeable. Monday to Friday plus overtime and an on call rota of week 1- Tuesday and Thursday & week 2 -Monday/ Wednesday/ Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday out of hours. Happy to negotiate within reason for the right candidate.
Duties
- Carry out roadside attendance and assistance to a range of customers/vehicles/faults.
- Carry out vehicle recoveries and deliver to the specified destinations.
- Maintain and clean your designated recovery vehicle, including tool maintenance and repairs where needed.
Requirements
- Valid class 2 or class 1 drivers license
- Experience as a recovery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge is required for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and clients.
- A strong commitment to safety practices while driving
- Flexibility to work varied hours as required.
