About you
Ideally, we would like candidates to have the following criteria:
· Previous experience with the industry
· NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent / Time served Experience (preferred)
· A valid class 4, 5 and 7 MOT testing licence (not essential as training will be provided)
· Experience in a professional workshop environment
· A good approach to customer service
· Team player
· Strong Work ethic
· You must ensure all work is carried out to a high standard first time
· Working from a job card and understanding processes
· Diagnostics understanding
Core duties and responsibilities
As a Mechanic you will be working on all makes and models of vehicles and general tasks will include:
· Carry our Servicing, Tyre change, Aircon, diagnostic, four-wheel alignments, road tests
· Ensure the necessary methods have been followed for each repair
· Adhere to company policies guidelines and health and safety regulations
· Embrace training and development to enhance and improve knowledge and skill set to further your career
Working Hours
Standard business hours are 8.00am – 5pm Monday – Friday.
Salary
Starting Salary Pro- rata from £35,000 to £40,000 OTE per year dependant on experience and contracted hours.
