Technical skills can be taught – the right attitude and people skills are what matter most.
As an IT Support Technician Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on industry experience while working alongside experienced professionals and studying towards your Level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship through Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job
Providing first-line support to clients and internal staff via phone and email
Speaking confidently and professionally with customers to resolve queries and provide updates
Monitoring and investigating alerts relating to device performance, backups, and system health
Assisting with hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting issues
Setting up and configuring devices, operating systems, and applications
Keeping internal systems and client information updated accurately
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day IT tasks and customer requests
Learning how to use troubleshooting tools and industry systems effectively
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and the Baltic Apprenticeships team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits
£15,600 per annum
Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
1-hour lunch break
20 days holiday plus bank holidays
Additional day off for your birthday

Reliable, approachable, and willing to learn
Previous work experience is preferred, particularly in customer service roles
Able to represent the business professionally with larger clients
Eagerness to develop new skills – technical training can be provided
Required Qualifications
GCSE Grade 5 in English and Grade 4 in Maths is required for this role
